A presentation by Peter Cox on the original Radio Ballads, first broadcast on 2 July 1958 by Ewan MacColl, Charles Parker and Peggy Seeger. The presentation will incorporate extracts from these programmes to illustrate how they were made. Peter’s book ‘Set Into Song’ explores the lives of the musicians and singers who took part in the Radio Ballads series. This includes a question and answer session |
